The Worldwide Space Station (ISS) is viewed transiting the Sunlight in these interesting photographs taken from England.

Jamie Cooper captured the spectacle in just just one second from his home in Whilton, Northamptonshire.

“On the late morning of 17th June 2022, a move of the Worldwide House Station in entrance of the Sunshine was predicted to be seen from my individual home. This was an opportunity not to be skipped,” he says.


“I shot the complete transit function, that lasted much less than 1 second, making use of a significant velocity ZWO ASI290MM video clip digicam, capturing frames of one millisecond exposure at 80 frames for every second.”

“There’s a quite narrow band wherever you, the area station and Sunshine are all in a straight line and it is about three miles huge,” he explained to the BBC.


“I’d checked the details three days in advance of and it was going to overlook my residence, I checked the working day right before and it was going to be more than my dwelling, so I was fortunate.”
